One of the best parts of our trip to Santorini was watching the sunset with a view of the caldera, which everyone talks about.
The caldera is a large volcanic crater filled with the sea, created by a huge eruption thousands of years ago. It’s surrounded by high cliffs and offers some of the most beautiful views in Santorini.
We found a great spot in Megalochori to watch the sunset. It was amazing and not too crowded.
We loved it so much at sunset that we went back the next day to see it during the day, and the view was just as stunning.
